Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project/Construction Manager to lead and manage execution of General Construction and MEP works in Kuching, Sarawak. You will develop the Project Execution Plan, supervise the team, monitor progress and ensure alignment with drawings, specifications and client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 6+ years in related projects, and readiness to be stationed on-site.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering or MEP project management, with proven independent project handling.
• Proven track record from planning/mobilization to final handover.
• Experience in General Contracting, building construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure or MEP projects a plus.
• Willing to be stationed at project sites in Kuching, Sarawak.
• CCPM or CCM certification adds value.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan and master programme with project team.
• Lead and manage overall project execution per drawings, specs, contract and objectives.
• Monitor progress, address delays, implement recovery plans for on-time completion.
• Ensure QA/QC, HSE, policies and client specs compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP works.
• Maintain communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and authorities.
• Resolve issues, site constraints and technical discrepancies with corrective actions.
• Review project docs including VO, EOT, submissions and impacts to cost/schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP), master project programme and construction methodology in collaboration with the project team.

Lead and manage the overall project execution, ensuring all General Construction and MEP activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements and project objectives.

Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement appropriate recovery plans to ensure timely project completion.

Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements, HSE procedures, company policies, statutory regulations and client specifications throughout project execution.

Coordinate and manage project interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP works to ensure smooth integration and execution.

Coordinate and maintain effective communication with clients, client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

Identify, assess and resolve project issues, technical discrepancies, site constraints and construction challenges, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

Review and manage project documentation, including site instructions, variation orders (VO), extension of time (EOT), technical submissions and additional client requirements, and highlight potential contractual, cost and schedule impacts to Management.

Implement effective quality control procedures to manage non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Monitor project performance through regular site inspections, progress reports, cost reports and project meetings, providing timely updates, recommendations and mitigation plans to Management.

Ensure proper project documentation, reporting, handover procedures and final project close-out are completed in accordance with company and client requirements.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiency and risk management throughout all stages of project execution.

Lead, supervise and develop the project team by providing effective guidance, coaching and training to enhance their technical competencies and performance.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management or immediate Superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in construction, engineering or MEP project management, with proven experience managing projects independently.

Possess a valid CIDB Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification will be an added advantage.

Experience in General Contracting, building construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure or MEP projects will be an advantage.

Proven track record in managing projects from planning and mobilization through construction, testing, commissioning and final handover.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Willing to be stationed at project sites in Kuching, Sarawak.
