Job summary

DFINITI Technologies SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector. You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and cross-functional teams including engineering and QA/QC to meet contractual requirements.

You will coordinate with clients and procurement to ensure timely, quality delivery and manage risks and changes across the project lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in any related Engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in Oil and Gas.

• Manage the project team in preparing schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Manage project progress, costing to ensure it meets contractual obligation to clients within budget.
• Work with engineering and QA/QC to ensure compliance to applicable codes, practices, quality standard and specifications.
• Interact with the clients to ensure their needs and requirements are taken up positively and objectively.
• Work closely with procurement to ensure sub-vendor supplies meet the project schedule.
• Responsible for the project's success (scope, budget, time, quality, delivery).
• Set up appropriate project team structure.
• Continuously project risk evaluation and tracking with respect to the defined.
• Proactively manage deviation, potential concern, escalation, and changes from internal and external parties.

Job description

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in any related Engineering field.

At least 10 years working experience in project management, preferably in Oil and Gas Industries.

Organized, meticulous and self-disciplined.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients at international level.

Exposure in engineering, QC, inspection, or field work will be an added advantage.

Exposure to process equipment and packages with experience in multi-discipline and equipment such as pump, valve, instrument, and E&I scope etc. will be an added advantage.

Experience in complete project execution cycle from kick off meeting, engineering, documentation, procurement, production and fabrication, FAT and SAT.

Must have great command of English, Malay and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking clients.

Independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
