Job summary

K ELITE CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support our process utility and factory hook‑up projects in Malaysia. The successful candidate will design and develop process utility systems, perform calculations, and coordinate installation, testing and commissioning with clients and subcontractors across semiconductor or industrial environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, openness to fresh graduates, and willingness to travel to project sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, process or mechanical engineering.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or industrial utility projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and design software or process simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop process utility systems including UHP gas, chemical, CDA, vacuum, and exhaust systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and technical evaluations.
• Monitor project workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Coordinate project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot process utility issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout project execution.

The ideal candidate will have hand‑on experience in engineering design, project execution, testing and commissioning, as well as strong coordination skills in managing clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders within semiconductor or industrial environments.

• Familiar with AutoCAD and engineering design software, , or relevant process simulation software.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites within Penang, Kulim, and other project locations.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin‑speaking clients, vendors, and stakeholders will be an added advantage.
