Job summary

CBH Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Manager fluent in Mandarin to lead electrical projects for clients in Malaysia. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, at least 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of electrical codes. Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera is preferred. CBH values reliability and teamwork.

Job description

Lead and manage electrical projects from planning to completion.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams.

Monitor project progress, schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements.

Manage manpower, materials and project resources.

Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical submissions.

Coordinate testing, commissioning and project handover.

Identify project risks and resolve technical/site issues.

Prepare project progress reports and attend site/project meetings.

Ensure compliance with relevant electrical, construction and safety requirements.

Plan work schedule and tasks on client’s requirement and schedule

To authorize the design works of the engineer before submission to the external consultant for verification

Recommend subcontractors/supplier for appointment

Establish relation with client/authority and attend to instructions & contractual requirements.

Education & Experience (Basic requirement for this position)

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.

Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects from inception to completion.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.

Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Familiarity with electrical design and installation processes
