Job summary

Talent Recruit is looking for a Site Project Manager (Electrical) based in Kuching to lead M&E commercial projects from inception to handover. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver within deadlines and budgets, liaising with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure project success.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5–7 years in M&E project management, strong planning and communication skills, and willingness to work half-day Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5–7 years experience in project management in M&E for commercial project.
• Ability to interact and deal effectively with all levels of management and staff.
• Must possess good planning knowledge and analytical skills.
• Must be willing to work half day on Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver commercial projects within established deadlines and budgets.
• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with client and business requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and communication documentation.
• Communicate project expectations clearly to internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Estimate resources, manpower, and materials required to achieve project goals.
• Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring quality, cost control, and timeline adherence.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to project team members.
• Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, conflicts, and technical issues.
• Track milestones and provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle including planning, coordination, installation, testing, and handover.
• Coordinate M&E works for commercial buildings including power distribution systems, lighting systems, ELV systems, HVAC coordination, fire protection systems, and authority approvals.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, local authorities, and utility providers where required.

Job details:

• Working hours: Mon-Fri (9.00am-6.00pm) & Sat (9.00am - 1.00pm)
