Job summary

ES Connect Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of structured cabling, ELV/BMS, and data center projects, based in Elmina, Sungai Buloh, Selangor. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with client requirements and quality standards.

You will oversee overall project planning, coordination, stakeholder and resource management, and project performance, while guiding a project team and resolving issues

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction and Civil Engineering or relevant certification.
• Minimum three years of experience in Project Construction in a similar role.
• Experience on hyperscale or large-scale data center projects; ELV/BMS cabling is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willing to work extra hours and weekends/holidays if required.

To lead and manage the successful delivery of the Company's structured cabling, ELV/BMS and data center projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with client requirements, approved specifications and quality standards. The role is responsible for overall project planning, coordination, stakeholder management, resource management and project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
• Lead a project team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Plan project manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required for the project.
• Resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Undertake other related jobs from time to time.

Job requirements

• Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Construction and Civil Engineering or relevant certification.
• Minimum three (3) years working experience in Project Construction, in similar position or related working experience.
• Experience working on hyperscale or large-scale data center projects, ELV/BMS cabling & system is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
• Willing to work extra hours and support on weekend or public holiday if required.
