Job summary

Angsana Tunas Sdn Bhd is hiring for an on-going Data Centre Project in Gelang Patah, Johor. You will plan, manage, and deliver steel structures, retaining wall, and security fencing within a mission-critical data centre.

The role requires strong leadership, deep civil/mechanical engineering knowledge, and proven experience in large-scale infrastructure. You will coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors, and report to stakeholders to ensure on-time handover.

Qualifications

• Requires formal civil or mechanical engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years of project management in civil construction.
• Proven track record in data center, industrial, or large-scale infra.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve timely handover.
• Drive resolution of site obstructions and negotiate practical specs to avoid commercial impact.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors on shop drawings, procurement, and mobilisation.
• Provide executive-level reporting and communications to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and prevention of injuries on site.
• Lead technical discussions with client and monitor BIM modelling progress before fabrication.
• Manage day-to-day operations across construction, safety, engineering and QC.

Job description

We are hiring this role for an on-going Data Centre Project in Gelang Patah, Johor. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering steel structures, retaining wall, security fencing within mission-critical data centre.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve timely handover.
• Drive resolution of site obstructions and negotiate practical specifications to avoid commercial impact.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors on shop drawings, procurement, and mobilisation.
• Provide executive-level reporting and communication to stakeholders.
• Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health as well as quality control in the project.
• Take lead in technical discussions with client and monitor BIM modelling progress and coordination prior to shop drawing submission and subsequently fabrication work to minimize rework on site.
• Manage and monitor day-to-day operations from all departments (construction, safety, engineering and QC)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or other related fields
• 3 years or more project management experience in civil construction projects.
• Proven track record in data center, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, resourceful, result-oriented and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and precisely.
• Strong knowledge of steel works, procurement, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to manage high-value contracts.
