Job summary

Skribble Lab is seeking a software project manager/business analyst in Petaling Jaya to lead timelines, milestones and resources for client projects. The role requires planning, execution of sprints, and risk tracking to ensure on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with business users to gather requirements, perform functional analysis, and map processes. Strong English and Chinese, plus documentation skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years working experience in software development projects.
• Strong command of English and Chinese to communicate professionally at all levels.
• Able to write documentation and articulate ideas well.
• Familiar with BPM, UML diagramming, User Stories to produce software/functional documentation.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Role Description

• Plan, execute and monitor software development sprints and scrum sessions.
• Track progress and project risks, and propose clear actions to keep projects on track.
• Work with business users to perform requirements gathering, functional analysis, and business process mapping in a software development project setting.
• Liaise, communicate with, and manage stakeholders in a software development project.
• Manage and respond to user requests in a post go-live support environment.
• Plan and execute user training, SIT and UAT.

The Candidate will possess the following skills/expertise:

• Able to work independently and as part of a bigger team.
• Strong command of English and Chinese to communicate professionally at all levels.
• Able to write documentations and articulate ideas well.
• Familiar with BPM, UML diagramming, User Stories to produce software/functional documentation.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in any software development projects.
• Good knowledge of software development and technical background is an added advantage.
• IT software project management experience is an added advantage.
• Able to manage direct reports, working closely with other teammates to produce results.
• Require to travel to client location for workshops, sprint reviews, deployment or support. All travelling costs will be reimbursed.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Keen eye for details, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
