About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team at SK REKA BINA SDN BHD in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, maintaining client satisfaction, and driving profitability. This role is critical to our continued success and your leadership will directly impact the quality and timeliness of our project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate all project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Manage project resources, including labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and clients

Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overruns

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle

Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and team members

Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and variation orders

Oversee quality control processes and conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets contractual requirements

Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction, implementing solutions promptly and professionally

Manage project budgets, control costs, and prepare financial reports and forecasts

Lead and mentor site teams, including engineers, supervisors, and support staff

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
