Job summary

Monee in Malaysia is seeking a results-driven professional to grow ShopeePay’s payment and financial services by identifying opportunities, coordinating initiatives, and driving execution across internal and external stakeholders.

You will project manage end-to-end delivery of new products, collaborate across Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance, and Marketing, and maintain strong partner relationships to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of working experience; business development or product management in payments/fintech preferred.
• Strong business acumen; able to assess situations and provide sensible inputs for decisions.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management across internal teams and external partners.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and fast learner in a fast-paced environment.

• Grow ShopeePay’s payment and financial services by identifying opportunities, coordinating initiatives, and driving execution across internal and external stakeholders
• Project manage the end-to-end delivery of new products and features, from scoping and planning through to launch and post-implementation review
• Coordinate across internal departments including Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance, and Marketing to ensure timely delivery and alignment on priorities
• Build and manage relationships with external business partners, lead day-to-day partner engagement and ensuring collective business growth
• Monitor business performance of assigned products and partnerships, supporting the team in flagging risks or growth opportunities that align with the company’s goals
• Support the preparation of business proposals, internal briefs, and partner-facing materials as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience; business development or product management experience in payments, remittance, or financial services highly preferred
• Good business acumen, able to assess situations and provide sensible inputs in making sound business decisions
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across both internal teams and external partners
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and fast learner comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment
