Job summary

Ultima Markets is seeking a proactive Project Manager/Business Analyst to drive cross-functional coordination for trading platform enhancements. You will translate business needs into technical requirements, maintain stakeholder updates, and ensure timely delivery across backend teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in PM/BA/PM roles, understands Forex/CFD processes, and holds or is pursuing PMP certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Project Management/Business Analysis/Product Management roles.
• Forex/CFD industry experience preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect system/website/application issues from sales or stakeholders and translate into structured technical requirements for Backend teams.
• Maintain continuous stakeholder communication with timely status updates and expected resolution timelines.
• Coordinate escalation of complex, high-impact, or time-sensitive issues to senior management.
• Track end-to-end lifecycle of optimization projects, ensuring SLA adherence and process compliance.
• Support development and maintenance of tools, templates, workflows, and SOPs to enhance team efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collect system/website/ application issues impacting client trading experience from sales teams or relevant stakeholders and translate them into structured technical requirements for Backend teams.
• Maintain continuous stakeholder communication by providing timely and transparent updates on request status, progress, and expected resolution timelines.
• Coordinate escalation of complex, high-impact, or time-sensitive issues to senior management, ensuring proper prioritization and swift resolution.
• Facilitate cross-department alignment discussions when requirements involve multiple stakeholders or conflicting priorities.

Project Delivery & Lifecycle Management

• Ensure optimization requests are properly documented with sufficient business context, impact assessment, and technical clarity before submission to backend teams.
• Track and monitor the full end-to-end lifecycle of each optimization project, from submission to resolution, ensuring SLA adherence and process compliance.
• Analyze operational effort across optimization projects, including time, manpower, and system resources, to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Support backend and technical teams by providing business clarification, user scenarios, and requirement refinement to ensure accurate implementation.
• Support the development and maintenance of tools, templates, workflows, and SOPs to enhance team efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management/Business Analyst/Product Management role;
• Experience in the Forex/CFD industry is preferred, with a good understanding of financial products, trading processes, and market operations. Candidates from related fintech sectors, such as payment gateways, crypto, or Web3, are also welcome.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly advantageous.
• Strong Chinese and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand issues from both a business and operational perspective.
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to follow through on tasks from start to finish.
