Job summary

BUSINESSNEXT in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned PMO Officer to drive governance, portfolio management, and delivery oversight across enterprise software initiatives.

You will implement governance frameworks, monitor project health, manage risks and budgets, and deliver executive reports to enable strategic decisions; the role requires extensive SDLC, Agile, and stakeholder management experience, with preference for SaaS, cloud, and AI-enabled projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of overall experience.
• At least 5+ years in PMO, Project Management, or Program Management roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software delivery and SDLC processes.
• Experience managing large-scale project portfolios and governance frameworks.
• Excellent reporting, analytical, and communication skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Program Management Officer (PMO) to drive project governance, portfolio management, delivery oversight, reporting excellence, and process standardization across enterprise software development and implementation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery by establishing governance frameworks, monitoring project health, managing risks, tracking financial performance, and enabling effective decision-making through executive reporting. This role requires extensive experience in SDLC, Agile delivery, PMO operations, stakeholder management, and enterprise technology environments.

Experience working with SaaS products, cloud technologies, digital transformation programs, and AI-enabled project management tools will be highly preferred.
