Job summary

Ultrack Technology Sdn Bhd (TrackerHero) is seeking a Project Executive to support software projects from requirements gathering to system delivery in Cyberjaya. You will join the client and development teams, attend meetings, document needs, translate them into clear work items, and assist with testing and delivery.

This role is for someone technical and organized who wants to grow into a Project Manager / Business Analyst. You will be guided, but you will own your tasks and learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, computer science, software engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of how web applications work and related tech terms.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and write clear notes.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings with the project lead and capture requirements.
• Prepare minutes of meetings and follow up on actions.
• Assist in system demonstrations, walkthroughs, and testing.
• Break down scope into work items and track progress in the tracker.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and support go-live activities.
• Help prepare tender and proposal documents.

Project Executive (Project Management - BA)

We are looking for a Project Executive to support our software
projects from requirement gathering all the way to system delivery.

You will work closely with our Head of Development and the developer
team. You will sit between the client and the developers: joining
meetings, documenting what is needed, turning it into clear work
items, testing what is built, and helping deliver it to the client.

This is a role for someone technical and organised who wants to grow
into a full Project Manager / Business Analyst. You will be guided,
but you are expected to take ownership of your tasks.

Fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation are encouraged

RESPONSIBILITIES

CLIENT & MEETINGS

• Attend client meetings together with the project lead
• Prepare minutes of meeting and follow up on action items
• Assist in system demonstrations and walkthroughs
• Keep clients updated on progress and pending items

REQUIREMENTS & DOCUMENTATION

• Gather and document client requirements
• Assist in preparing SRS, BRS, and system documentation
• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Prepare process flows, use cases, and simple wireframes
• Keep documentation updated as requirements change

PROJECT COORDINATION

• Break down approved scope into work items in the issue tracker
• Track progress, blockers, and pending items
• Follow up with developers on task status
• Prepare weekly progress reports

TESTING

• Prepare test cases from approved requirements
• Perform functional testing before any release to client
• Log defects clearly, track them, and verify fixes
• Assist in UAT sessions with the client

DELIVERY & SUPPORT

• Prepare user manuals and training materials
• Assist in user training for client staff
• Support go-live and post-delivery issues
• Assist in preparing tender and proposal documents

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering,
• or related field
• Technical foundation — understands how web applications work

(APIs, databases, user roles, login and permissions)

• Able to read and understand technical documentation
• Good writing skills — able to write clear, structured documents
• Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to follow up consistently
• Willing to learn and take feedback
• Willing to travel to client sites for meetings and trainingADDED ADVANTAGE
• Hands-on development or coding experience (internship, final year
• project, or personal projects) — any stack
• Familiarity with Laravel, React, Vue, or similar web frameworks
• Experience with an issue tracker (GitLab, Jira or similar)
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) to draft

documentation and speed up work

• Any exposure to software testing or QA
