Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to support planning, implementation, and delivery of projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires collaboration with developers, QA testers and clients, with a focus on scheduling, documentation, and progress reporting. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is essential, as is the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/CS/PM/Business or related field or commensurate experience.
• 2–4 years of IT project coordination, system implementation, software development, or IT operations.
• Experience in software/system implementation projects is highly desirable.
• Experience working with developers, QA testers, vendors, clients and end users.
• Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative duties as instructed by the Project Manager.
• Assist liaising with project stakeholders on project details.
• Assist in planning and implementing projects.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
• Assist in data analysis and reporting of progress.
• Maintain project schedules and trackers; ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Support go-live, deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Work independently and in a team, under tight deadlines.

The candidate will undertake the following duties and more as instructed by the Project Manager:

Manager:

• 1. Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, prepare minute of meeting, prepare report, drafting invoices, project documentation, slides
• 2. Assisting in liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and
• 3. Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
• 4. Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
• 5. Assisting in analyzing data as required
• 6. Assisting in tracking and reporting project progress
• 7. Maintain project schedules and update project trackers
• 8. Ensure project documentation is properly maintained.
• 9. Support go-live, deployment and post-go-live activities
• 10. Able to work independently and multi-task as well as a good team player
• 11. Proactive and positive nature personality
• 12. Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure within tight deadlines
• 13. Good command of both spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• 14. Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business/Management or a closely related field, or commensurate experience.
• 2. 2–4 years of experience in IT project coordination, system implementation, software development, or IT operations.
• 3. Experience in software/system implementation projects is highly desirable.
• 4. Experience working with developers, QA/testers, vendors, clients and end users.
• 6. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
• 7. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
