To coordinate and support project activities within the Ceramic Division, ensuring projects are completed according to customer requirements, project timelines, quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
Job Purpose
To coordinate and support project activities within the Ceramic Division, ensuring projects are completed according to customer requirements, project timelines, quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities from new product development, prototype, NPI and qualification through production ramp-up.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and action plans, and monitor progress against agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing and other relevant departments to ensure project readiness.
- Follow up on customer requirements, drawings, specifications, samples, engineering changes and project deliverables.
- Coordinate prototype and trial production activities, including material, tooling, equipment and process readiness.
- Monitor project status and follow up on outstanding actions, issues and delays.
- Identify project risks and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare project progress reports, meeting minutes and other project-related documentation.
- Support customer communication and provide project updates when required.
- Support continuous improvement activities to improve quality, cost, delivery and project execution.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Business Administration or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, NPI, engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
- Experience in semiconductor, ceramics, precision machining or advanced manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of project management and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers or internal stakeholders.
