Job summary

Nagatron Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Executive to coordinate and oversee the execution of construction projects in Klang, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on delivering on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years in construction, and be capable of reading architectural, civil and structural drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction; steel structure experience advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil and structural drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety standards and site procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; AutoCAD and Tekla experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge and interpret construction drawings accurately.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate activities to support timely completion.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings.
• Conduct inspections and checks to verify that site works meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, workers, supervisors and other parties involved in the project.
• Implement site activities, attend site meetings, and prepare project reports as required.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the superior.

Nagatron Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Executive to join our dynamic team in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. As a Project Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various aspects of project execution, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is integral to our operations and offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects whilst developing your project management expertise.

Key responsibilities

Apply engineering knowledge and interpret construction drawings accurately.

Monitor project progress and coordinate activities to support timely completion.

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry; experience with steel structure systems is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of construction practices, procedures and safety standards

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; AutoCAD and Tekla experience is an advantage

Able to read and interpret architectural as well as civil and structural drawings.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results

Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to addressing challenges

Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes

Professional certification such as DOSH, CIDB or equivalent would be advantageous

Willing to travel within the state and to outstation project sites.
