We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with hands-on experience in the complete development, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar Power Plant projects.
The successful candidate will also be required to travel and be based overseas for approximately three (3) years, where he/she will be responsible for supporting project implementation and providing technical training and knowledge transfer to the local project team.

Employment: Full-Time / Overseas Assignment
Overseas Assignment: 3 Years
Manage and coordinate solar power plant projects from construction stage through completion.
Supervise civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works related to solar PV power plants.
Coordinate installation of PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, transformers, switchgears, cabling and related electrical systems.
Coordinate grid interconnection works, testing and commissioning.
Review engineering drawings, method statements, technical submissions and project specifications.
Monitor project schedules, work progress, quality and site safety.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
Troubleshoot technical and site-related issues.
Prepare project progress reports, technical reports and project documentation.
Conduct testing, commissioning and handover activities.
Provide technical training and practical guidance to the overseas project team.
Develop training materials, SOPs, work procedures and technical guidelines.
Transfer technical knowledge to local engineers, supervisors and technicians.
Ensure the overseas team is capable of independently operating, maintaining and managing the solar power plant upon completion of the training programme.
Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
Preferably 5 years or more of relevant experience in solar PV projects.
Candidates must have complete solar power plant project experience, preferably from construction through Testing & Commissioning and COD.
Experience in Large Scale Solar (LSS), utility-scale solar or solar power plant projects will be a strong advantage.
Good understanding of PV systems, inverters, transformers, MV/HV systems, substations, SCADA and grid connection.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, SLDs and technical specifications.
Strong project coordination, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Experience training engineers or technical teams will be an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English.
Must be willing to travel and be stationed overseas for approximately three (3) years.
Able to work independently and adapt to an international working environment.
