Job summary

SC Estate Builder Berhad is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for complete lifecycle management of solar power plant projects. The role involves traveling and being stationed overseas for approximately three years, coordinating cross-discipline works from construction to commissioning, and delivering hands-on training to the overseas team.

The candidate should have a degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and 5+ years in solar PV, with strong understanding of PV systems, SCADA and

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in solar PV projects.
• Complete solar power plant project experience from construction through testing and commissioning.
• Experience with large scale or utility-scale solar projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate solar power plant projects from construction through completion.
• Supervise civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works for PV plants.
• Coordinate installation of PV modules, mounting structures, inverters and electrical systems.
• Coordinate grid interconnection works, testing and commissioning.
• Review drawings, method statements and project specifications.
• Monitor schedules, progress, quality and site safety.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to overseas project team.
• Prepare progress and technical reports; document project activities.
• Ensure overseas team can operate, maintain and manage the plant independently.
