Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related engineering disciplines.
• 3–5 years for Project Engineer in utility-scale solar or related infra projects; 7–10 years for Project Manager with leadership in utility-scale solar or energy projects.

We are looking for experienced and driven professionals to join our team for Large Scale Solar (LSS5+) projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong project execution capabilities, technical expertise, and hands on experience in managing utility scale solar projects from development through construction and commissioning stages.

This role will be involved in coordinating project activities, managing stakeholders, ensuring project timelines are achieved, and supporting the successful delivery of large scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the execution of LSS5+ solar projects from engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project completion stages.
• Coordinate project planning, scheduling, technical execution, and site activities to ensure projects are delivered within approved timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement mitigation measures to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, utilities providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on project related matters.
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, method statements, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, regulatory standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, technical discussions, and progress reviews.
• Manage contractor performance, project reporting, and overall site coordination activities.
• Support testing, commissioning, energization, and handover activities upon project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related engineering disciplines.
• For Project Engineer role, minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in utility scale solar, renewable energy, power plant, or infrastructure projects.
• For Project Manager role, minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with proven experience leading utility scale solar or major energy related projects.
• Hands on experience in Large Scale Solar (LSS) projects, particularly utility scale solar development or execution, will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of project management, engineering coordination, construction activities, and solar project execution processes.
• Familiarity with TNB requirements, grid interconnection, renewable energy regulations, and project compliance standards is preferred.
• Possess good communication, coordination, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced project environment.
• Willing to travel and be based at project sites when required.

Employment Type

This role is offered on a 2 year contract basis for the duration of the LSS5+ project execution phase. Opportunity for contract renewal or extension may be considered based on project continuity and individual performance.
