Job summary

NSW Automation Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a Project Engineer to join the PMO operations team. You will plan, execute, and finalize projects within deadlines and budgets, coordinating with engineering, quality, and procurement to ensure smooth delivery.

You will manage BOMs, material planning, and risk mitigation, lead project teams, and maintain documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards across customer sites and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is the minimum requirement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics is preferred; master's preferred.
• Practical project management experience preferred.
• Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and service manuals is advantageous.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, EHS policies and customer site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with multiple departments.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Organize and conduct project kick-off meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Ensure BOMs are created completely according to specifications.
• Ensure Material Planning and Purchasing are executed according to project requirements.
• Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication.
• Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to product quality procedures and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
