Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Supervision professional to oversee engineering, building, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Supervise and monitor mechanical works for engineering, building, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.
Ensure mechanical installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning works are carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to schedule and required standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of mechanical works.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues involving mechanical systems and equipment.
Review mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements, and other technical documents.
Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and other project teams.
Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure all works comply with safety procedures, company SOPs, and applicable project requirements.
Prepare progress reports, inspection records, and other relevant documentation.
Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
Perform other duties assigned by the management.
Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical works, maintenance, or engineering projects.
Experience supervising mechanical works at project sites is an advantage.
Knowledge of HVAC, pumps, piping systems, mechanical equipment, and related systems is an advantage.
Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Strong supervisory, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures and compliance requirements.
Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
