Job summary

EI POWER BERHAD is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a high-profile data center project in Johor Bahru. You will support and manage project execution, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery in line with project requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, plus CIDB certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, project management, or site execution.
• Experience in data centre, M&E, or critical infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
• Valid CIDB certification.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project activities from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review, prepare, and coordinate technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues encountered on-site.
• Attend site meetings, coordinate technical matters, and provide progress updates to management.
• Assist in project documentation, reporting, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within the required timeline and quality standards.
