Job summary

FOUNDER ENERGY SDN BHD is seeking a Project Engineer (LSS) to support planning, execution and monitoring of large-scale solar projects. You will work with the Project Manager to coordinate engineering, construction, procurement and site activities, ensuring safe, on-time and on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, 2+ years of experience, and strong coordination skills across teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, construction or project execution.
• Experience in Large Scale Solar (LSS), renewable energy, power or EPC projects is an added advantage.
• Strong coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or project management tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring Large Scale Solar (LSS) projects.

• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients for smooth project execution.
• Work with the Engineering team to resolve technical issues and manage drawing revisions.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support corrective actions to meet project targets.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and site documentation.
• Coordinate materials, manpower, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
