Job summary

FOUNDER ENERGY SDN BHD, located in Bukit Raja, Selangor, seeks an experienced Site Manager (Project Utilities) to lead utility-related construction for Large Scale Solar (LSS) projects. You will oversee on-site electrical infrastructure, coordinate civil, electrical, PV, and utility teams, and ensure work meets drawings, specs, and safety standards.

You will liaise with TNB, authorities, consultants, and contractors to keep milestones on schedule and manage RFIs, inspections, and handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of site/construction experience, preferably in solar PV, LSS, EPCC, utility, substation, or grid connection projects.
• Valid CIDB Green Card/Construction Personnel Registration.
• Good understanding of solar farm construction and electrical/utility infrastructure, with experience coordinating with authorities and stakeholders.
• Willing to work and be based in Northern Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day utility and electrical infrastructure works at the LSS project site.
• Coordinate site activities and work packages involving civil, electrical, PV, utility and other contractors.
• Oversee grid connection and utility works, including cabling, substations, switchgear and interconnection facilities, and coordinate with authorities and contractors.
• Monitor site progress, project schedules, manpower, materials and productivity to ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate technical, quality and site issues, including RFIs, inspections, testing, commissioning, defects and corrective actions.
• Ensure HSE compliance, site documentation, reporting, meetings and project handover/close-out are properly managed.

Site Manager (Project Utilities)

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager (Project Utilities) to join our solar EPCC team and oversee utility-related construction activities for our Large Scale Solar (LSS) projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site execution, coordinating contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring that utility and electrical infrastructure works are completed safely, on schedule, within the required quality standards, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
