Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd, part of the AME Elite Consortium Berhad group, is seeking a Project Engineer to supervise M&E installation on-site for commercial and industrial buildings. You will coordinate site activities, review drawings, and liaise with clients and authorities.

We value hands-on problem-solving, attention to safety, and the ability to manage procurement and progress reporting while maintaining quality and schedule compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E installation works on-site.
• Troubleshoot site issues and propose practical solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan, monitor & control procurement, materials deliver and overall work progress.
• Prepare and submit Progress Reports, relevant sketches, drawings, and other documentation.
• Verify quantities for M&E installation services in accordance with Tender, Shop, and As-Built drawings.
• Implement work schedules while enforcing site cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Coordinate and supervise both own and subcontractors’ workforce.
• Liaise with client, consultants, local authorities & other relevant parties.
• Maintain and update M&E drawings and related construction documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and supervise all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works on-site.
• Troubleshoot site issues and propose practical solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan, monitor & control procurement, materials deliver and overall work progress.
• Prepare and submit Progress Reports, relevant sketches, drawingsand other documentation.
• Verify quantities for M&E installation services in accordance with Tender, Shop, and As-Built drawings.
• Implement work schedules while enforcing site cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Ensure adequate, efficient, and high-quality workforce allocation.
• Monitor work progress to meet project schedules and client requirements.
• Review and verify M&E designs, subcontractors’ claims, and variation orders.
• Liaise with client, consultants, local authorities & other relevant parties.
• Maintain and update M&E drawings and related construction documentation.
• Coordinate and supervise both own and subcontractors’ workforce.
• Assist management with additional tasks as required, including drawings, procurement, and reporting
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

What We're Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably with site exposure.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
