CNW Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Malaysia and seeks 2 Project Engineers – Electrical to drive wire harness and box build projects from concept through production.

You will review schematics, coordinate with engineering, production, quality and procurement, and support continuous improvement and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in wire harness, cable assembly, box build.
• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Good communication, coordination and project management skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in NPI / prototype-to-production projects.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Familiarity with CAD / E3 / SolidWorks Electrical / AutoCAD Electrical.
• Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma / continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Support electrical engineering activities for wire harness, cable assembly and box build projects.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable/harness drawings.
• Support NPI, prototype and production launch activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality and Procurement to meet project schedules and deliverables.
• Support engineering changes, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, work instructions and project updates.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules, task lists, and status trackers.
• Track deliverables, open action items, and milestone dates; flag risks and delays proactively
• Assist with first-article inspections, testing, and validation of new builds.
• Support PFMEA, risk assessments, and process validation activities.
• Help identify and implement continuous improvement, Lean, and quality initiatives on the production
• Support quality activities, including first-article inspection, testing and IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements.
• Participate in customer and supplier meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions as needed.
• Assist with component and supplier technical evaluations under the guidance of the Engineering Lead.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Project Engineer – Electrical (Wire Harness & Box Build)

CNW Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. is expanding its business operations with the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Malaysia. As part of our growth and expansion, we are looking for 2 experienced and motivated Project Engineers – Electrical (Wire Harness & Box Build) to join our growing engineering team.

The successful candidates will play an important role in managing electrical engineering projects, particularly in wire harness manufacturing and electrical box build assembly, from project initiation and engineering development through to production implementation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support electrical engineering activities for wire harness, cable assembly and box build projects.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable/harness drawings.
• Support NPI, prototype and production launch activities.
