MVC Resources in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer to lead on-site electrical works, coordinating subcontractors, vendors and site teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

You will coordinate drawings, submissions, testing and commissioning, and work closely with main contractors, consultants and clients to resolve issues and drive value engineering while upholding SHE requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Project Manager: 5-8+ years of relevant experience.
• Senior Project Engineer: 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Electrical or M&E construction experience preferred.
• Sound knowledge of electrical drawings, site coordination, testing & commissioning, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (MS Project is an advantage).
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and monitor electrical works against the master project schedule.
• Manage supervisors, workers, subcontractors and vendors on site.
• Work closely with main contractors, consultants, clients and other trades.
• Attend site coordination meetings and resolve technical and workflow issues.
• Track progress, productivity, workmanship, manpower and material usage.
• Coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, BOQ, method statements and As-Built documentation.
• Spot and resolve technical issues before and during construction.
• Propose practical value engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and implement testing and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and SHE regulations.
• Support handover, defect rectification and project close-out.

Job Description

Our client is an established electrical engineering contractor. They are growing their project team and looking for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.

You will lead the delivery of electrical works on site. That means coordinating subcontractors, vendors and site teams, and keeping projects safe, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
