Job summary

TransSystem Continental Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead electrical substation and transmission project activities, ensuring timelines and technical specs are met. You will manage documents, FAT processes, and site coordination while supervising installation, testing and commissioning.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and a minimum of two years’ civil construction experience. Travel across sites and a one-year contract are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction related or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
Willing to travel and work at different sites as required.
Possess own transport and able to work on-site regularly.

Responsibilities

Involve in power and water utilities projects, protection relay and control panels for substations.
Coordinate and execute transmission substation projects according to technical specs.
Submit equipment documents for approval, coordinate FAT and delivery.
Prepare monthly project progress reports and site method statements.
Supervise installation, testing and commissioning activities on site.
Manage project plans, resources, contracts, QA and site communications.
