Job summary

Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support data centre, industrial or mission-critical infrastructure projects.

You will assist the Project Manager with planning, coordinating, and delivering complex installations, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality standards are met while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years in data centre, industrial, construction or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with M&E systems and commissioning processes is preferred.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants and multiple project stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project/AutoCAD/BIM are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering data centre projects.
• Monitor progress, schedules, milestones, and report updates, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate design drawings, technical documents, and deliverables with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and critical facility systems.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and project handovers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations, material approvals, and change requests.
• Maintain project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, NCRs, inspection records, and progress reports.
• Coordinate tenant fit-out activities, infrastructure readiness, and project handovers.
• Support structured cabling, cross-connect implementation, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Work closely with IT, Facilities, and Security teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in data centre, industrial, construction, or mission‑critical infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of M&E systems, power distribution, cooling systems, and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with data centre standards such as Uptime Institute Tier, TIA‑942, ASHRAE, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and multiple project stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, or BIM software is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
• Professional membership with BEM, IEM, MBOT, or PMI is an advantage.
