IAQ Group in Malaysia is actively seeking engineers for EPCC projects. You will lead HVAC and mechanical system design, prepare technical reports, and develop tender documentation.
Collaboration with contractors, consultants, and internal teams is essential to ensure timely delivery and quality. Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of relevant experience, a related engineering degree, and knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and energy optimization.

We welcome candidates with experience in the design, construction, commissioning, or operation of Cleanroom Systems, Tool Hook-Up Systems, MEP Services, High and Low Voltage Electrical Systems, ACMV Systems, or Fire Protection Systems within Data Centre, EV Battery, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical & Hospitals, District Cooling & Heating, Photovoltaics, and Food & Beverage environments.
Lead the design, engineering calculations, and technical development of HVAC and mechanical systems.
Prepare technical reports, design presentations, specifications, BOQs, and engineering proposals.
Develop tender scopes, technical specifications, and project documentation.
Ensure all design deliverables are completed within project schedules and quality standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
Guide and supervise CAD designers in the preparation of engineering drawings.
Support tender planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Respond to technical enquiries and clarification requests from tenderers.
Conduct technical clarification meetings with bidders and stakeholders.
Evaluate technical submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications and scope requirements.
Prepare technical evaluations and comparison reports for bid assessment.
Manage assigned work packages and provide technical leadership during project execution.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Review and approve contractors' technical submissions, method statements, and related documentation.
Initiate and manage design changes, RFIs, and project-related technical proposals.
Provide technical support and guidance to construction and quality teams.
Monitor project progress and verify contractors' progress claims.
Assist EHS personnel in ensuring compliance with site safety requirements.
Support troubleshooting activities and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
Lead testing and commissioning activities for mechanical and HVAC systems.
Verify system performance and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Review and approve operation and maintenance manuals submitted by contractors.
Support project handover documentation and ensure all project deliverables are completed.
Participate in project close-out and final acceptance activities.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process/Chemical, Civil, Structural, BIM, Quantity Surveying, Quality, Construction, or related Engineering disciplines.
1 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, piping systems, chillers, and AHUs.
Experience in energy optimization or energy efficiency projects will be an added advantage.
Fresh grads are also encouraged to apply.
Experience with engineering software and digital tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, MS Project or other discipline-specific applications will be advantageous .
Ability to prepare technical specifications, BOQs, engineering calculations, and tender documentation.
Willing to travel locally and overseas when required.
Open to site-based assignments and secondment to project locations as necessary.
