Job summary

Bondit E&C Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise site activities in Masai, Johor. You will oversee civil works, coordinate with project teams and ensure adherence to drawings, specifications and schedules while maintaining accurate reports and documentation.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree, speak English and Malay, and be proactive, communicative, and willing to learn to ensure quality, safety and timely handovers on diverse industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Construction/Maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to speak and write English and Malay.
• Good communication, confident and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Attend site visits and project meetings as required.
• Monitor and coordinate daily civil/construction works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, defects, discrepancies and delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants on site activities.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements, material requirements and basic cost estimates.
• Monitor materials, manpower, equipment and progress of assigned works.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, progress records, progress updates and project documentation.
• Assist with inspections, testing, quality control, safety compliance and project handover.
• Prepare and support progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain claim documentation, measurement records, and supporting evidence
• Assist in BQ preparation, cost checking, and claim validation.
