Welbuilder Construction Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysia-based contractor, seeks a site professional to oversee daily site execution, planning, coordination, QA/QC, and safety on infrastructure projects such as roads and drainage.

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of site experience required; ability to read drawings and liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant site experience in construction.
• Experience in infrastructure, road & drainage is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Site Execution: Coordinate daily site works and monitor progress to follow drawings, specs and method statements.
• Planning & Coordination: Support project planning, sequencing and resource allocation with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• QA/QC: Monitor inspection and quality control processes to meet project requirements and standards.
• Safety & Environment: Support site safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE and environmental requirements.
• Technical Support: Review drawings, assist with method statements and resolve site issues.
• Materials: Coordinate delivery, storage and usage to minimize wastage.
• Reporting: Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
• Problem-Solving: Identify site constraints and coordinate practical solutions.
• IMS Compliance: Support implementation of Quality, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution: Coordinate daily site works and monitor progress to ensure activities follow approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

Planning & Coordination: Support project planning, work sequencing and resource allocation, while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

QA/QC: Monitor inspection and quality control processes to ensure works meet project requirements and quality standards.

Safety & Environment: Support site safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE and environmental requirements.

Technical Support: Review drawings, assist with method statements and support the resolution of technical and site issues.

Materials: Coordinate material delivery, storage and usage to ensure availability and minimize wastage.

Reporting: Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and other project-related documentation.

Problem-Solving: Identify site constraints and coordinate practical solutions to keep project activities progressing.

IMS Compliance: Support the implementation of applicable Quality, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability Management System requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

3–5 years of relevant site or project engineering experience in construction industry.

Experience in infrastructure, road & drainage, earthworks is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of construction methods and site execution processes, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Familiar with QA/QC procedures, site inspections and compliance requirements.

Basic knowledge of cost control, material monitoring and subcontractor coordination.

Good coordination and communication skills with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD is an added advantage.

Responsible and accountable for assigned tasks.

Good time management and able to meet project deadlines.

Willing to work on-site and adapt to project demands.
