Responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities, ensuring the project is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, budget, and project schedule.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities.
Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule.
Supervise construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFI, shop drawings, material submissions, inspection requests, and progress reports.
Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
Attend site, technical, coordination, and progress meetings.
Monitor subcontractors' work progress, quality, and performance.
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in construction/project engineering is preferred.
Experience in building, civil, infrastructure, or related construction projects will be an advantage.
Good understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, drawings, specifications, and site practices.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction plans.
Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Familiar with project documentation such as RFI, method statements, material submissions, inspection requests, progress reports, and variation orders.
Good understanding of quality control, site safety, and construction procedures.
Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Able to work independently and effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
