Job summary

Gulf Lubes Malaysia, located at Port Klang Free Zone, Pulau Indah, Selangor, is a biodiesel manufacturing plant committed to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented engineer to support project scoping, design reviews, site supervision and commissioning for our biodiesel operations. Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering and 3–5 years EPC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in biodiesel / palm oil / oil & gas / EPC.
• Strong knowledge in P&ID, piping, utilities and plant systems.
• Experience in project execution, site supervision and commissioning.
• Familiar with HSE standards and Malaysian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project scoping, feasibility studies, schedule, budget and cost estimation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers to meet specs.
• Review and validate engineering drawings, including P&IDs, layouts, piping and structures.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, regs and company specs.
• Supervise contractors during installation, piping, electrical and mechanical works.
• Monitor construction progress and conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover to operations.
• Prepare concise Project Progress Reports and performance updates.

We are looking for detail-oriented and responsible candidate for our biodiesel plant.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in project scoping, feasibility studies, project schedule, budget and cost estimation for site projects
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with design and material specifications
• Review and validate engineering drawings, including P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping and structural designs
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements and company specifications
• Supervise contractors during installation, fabrication, piping, electrical and mechanical works to ensure quality and timely completion
• Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections and address any technical and operational issues
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and final handover of completed systems to the operations team
• Prepare concise Project Progress Reports and overall performance to ensure efficient project execution

Requirements :

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferred
• 3–5 years experience in biodiesel / palm oil / oil & gas / EPC
