Job summary

Pure Gas Engineering Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage engineering projects from design and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

You will work with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards. Responsibilities include design reviews, procurement support, site inspections, and preparing progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2–5 years in engineering project execution.
• Experience in construction, industrial or gas system projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and project management concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all phases of assigned projects from design to handover.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to meet requirements.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and implement actions.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Prepare schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports for management.
• Support procurement by evaluating offers and vendor documents.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage engineering projects from design and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. The role involves working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to required quality and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all phases of assigned projects, including design review, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation

Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and expectations are met

Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions

Conduct site inspections to ensure work conforms to approved design and safety standards

Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports for management review

Support procurement activities by evaluating technical offers, reviewing vendor documents, and ensuring materials meet project standards

Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements

Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover documentation

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

2-5 years in engineering project execution

Experience in construction, industrial, or gas system projects is preferred

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Familiarity with project management tools (AutoCAD)

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Team player with ability to coordinate across departments
