TENAGA SERI WANGSA SDN BHD in Kuching, Malaysia, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead on-site construction activities for residential projects. You will ensure daily work passes drawings, specifications, and safety standards while coordinating with the project team.

Responsibilities include supervising site operations, preparing daily and weekly progress reports, checking material deliveries, attending site meetings, and coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering
• Experience in building construction, residential projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and civil drawings and coordinate with M&E drawings

In line with the rapid business expansion plan, we are an established property development and construction company seeking a suitable candidate for the Project Engineer position.

Key responsibilities

Supervise daily constructions activities on site

Ensure daily work is carried out according to the approved drawings and specifications

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Prepare site reports, work progress reports, and documentation

Check and verify materials delivered to the site

Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognised institution

Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience in building construction; residential projects preferred

Good understanding of reinforced concrete structures, foundations, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, roofing and architectural finishes

Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and civil engineering drawings and coordinate with M&E drawings

Able to prepare daily work plans, monitor weekly progress and identify delays or constraints

Familiar with site inspections, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, material approvals, NCRs, and defect rectification

Able to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site supervisors and construction workers

Able to prepare daily reports, site photographs, progress records, material requests and inspection records

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and digital reporting. Knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software is an advantage

Understand site safety procedures, risk assessments, safe work practices and relevant statutory requirements
