Job summary

Hicom Teck See Manufacturing in Shah Alam, Selangor, is seeking a Project Management Executive (Business Development) to drive APQP projects from LOI through handover. The role focuses on RFQ study, costing analysis, and coordinating with customers and internal teams to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive manufacturing, with Mandarin or other foreign language skills as a plus, and a recognized engineering degree.

Qualifications

• RFQ study and cost analysis for pricing development.
• Understanding of product costing structure.
• Plan, execute, coordinate and monitor project development per schedule, cost and quality.
• Prepare time-based programs and monitor development progress.
• Conduct regular cost checks to prevent overruns and claim additional costs as needed.
• Communicate with key stakeholders including customers and internal teams.
• Read and summarize technical specifications and drawings.
• Lead APQP phases and compile documentation.
• Write progress and final reports on development status and handovers.
• Provide support for technical difficulties during development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the entire APQP project phase from LOI to handover.

Project Management Executive (Business Development)

Hicom Teck See Manufacturing – Shah Alam, Selangor

1. Carry out the entire APQP project phase which includes commercial and engineering matters from LOI, project execution & monitoring until handover.

2. Preparation of IFQ, costing analysis and to manage quotation to customers.

3. Managing project according to agreed schedule, cost and quality.

4. Communicating and managing key stakeholder throughout the project.

Job Description

1) Conduct RFQ study and prepare IFQ preparation for costing section to develop part price.

2) Understands with product costing structure.

3) Planning, execute, coordinate and monitor the Implementation of the project during design and development stage according to schedule, cost & quality.

- Prepare time-based program, ensure that it is monitor & control in accordance with development program for various stages.

- Conduct regular cost checking during development to avoid cost overrun & relevant additional cost is charge/claim to customer accordingly.

4) Communicating with key stakeholders including customers, internal teams & sub-suppliers.

5) Read, understand and summarize:

- Technical specifications.

- Technical drawings.

6) Leader of APQP phases & documentation compilation with the support from related APQP members department.

7) Write progress and final report on the development status, issues arises and officially handover to operation teams upon completion of each project.

8) Support in any unexpected technical difficulties and other problem that arise during project development, either at customers or internal.

A. Education

A recognized Mechanical or Process Engineering degree (minimum).

B. Experience (Years)

2 years’ experience in Automotive manufacturing environment.

C. Special requirements

Advantage:

a) Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written).

b) Able to speak foreign languages (example: Japanese, German, Korean and etc).

c) Knowledge in Project management.
