Job summary

Kayangan Kemas Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) in Malaysia to lead electrical design, installation, and integration across diverse projects. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure drawings meet specifications.

• Develop and manage electrical system designs, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Oversee the electrical design, installation, and integration for various projects, including the preparation of specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other disciplines.
• Perform project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, and track progress to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure that electrical systems are correctly implemented in accordance with the project specifications and provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure electrical systems are installed as per designs, specifications, and safety standards.
• Lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Resolve any technical issues that arise during project execution, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. * Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with other project engineers, stakeholders, and contractors to manage project resources and schedules.
• Ensure all documentation, including reports, specifications, and project files, are accurately maintained and updated.
• Review and approve electrical design drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Lead project meetings to track project status and discuss any issues or risks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer (Electrical), with a strong understanding of electrical systems, design principles, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience with large-scale projects, including electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and Data Centre sectors, is a plus.
• Experience with Data Centre projects and willingness to travel to project sites when needed will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
