Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management, preferably in pressure vessels and bulk handling.
• Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards.

• Proficiency with MS Project and reading technical drawings.
• CAD experience (AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor) is a plus.

Position Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing projects from conception through completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and fabrication of pressure vessels and bulk handling equipment, with a strong understanding of ASME codes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage projects from initial design through fabrication and delivery.

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Collaborate with design, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents.

Develop guidelines, manuals, work instructions, and templates to standardize processes.

Conduct project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.

Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and specifications, particularly ASME.

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed.

Participate in project meetings, both internal and with clients, to discuss project status and resolve issues.

Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the design and fabrication of pressure vessels and bulk handling equipment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards.

Proven experience in managing engineering projects from concept to completion.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and clients.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Experience in developing guidelines, manuals, work instructions, and templates.
