We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Project Engineer to manage and coordinate engineering projects, working closely with customers, suppliers, sales, production, quality, and internal teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable quality and technical requirements.
Determine project specifications and identify the materials, resources, equipment, and manpower required for successful project execution.
Develop project scope, objectives, parameters, schedules, and implementation plans.
Establish project responsibilities and coordinate project activities with relevant personnel and departments.
Develop, monitor, and control the complete project plan throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, costs, resources, and changes to ensure project efficiency and profitability.
Initiate project kick-off/start-up meetings and coordinate project scheduling, raw material, machinery, equipment, and jig preparation.
Work closely with the Sales Department to provide technical and product information required for RFQ preparation.
Review and address technical enquiries in collaboration with internal technical teams, suppliers, and other relevant parties.
Coordinate with customers, project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to develop effective project solutions and methods.
Review design changes and assess their impact on project costs, schedules, quality, and implementation.
Ensure project activities comply with applicable codes, practices, company policies, performance standards, and customer specifications.
Establish field test methods, quality monitoring procedures, and data collection methods.
Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Quality History Reviews, robustness studies, and continuous improvement activities.
Prepare and maintain relevant project documentation, including Project Management Plans (PMP), FMEA, Packing Methods, and other technical/project documents.
Support the identification and resolution of project-related technical and quality issues.
Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Basic understanding of Project Management and project execution processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of SolidWorks or other engineering/design software is an added advantage.
Able to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Willing to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced project environment.
