Job summary

Dwisolar Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager by organizing and controlling project elements, and by liaising with clients and technical personnel to ensure timely progress.

You will work on FAT/SAT, prepare project reports, and coordinate with site teams. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu are required; experience in oil & gas or construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in any industry, preferably oil and gas or construction.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and PDF documentation.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.

Job description

The Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for organizing and controlling project elements and liaising with the project manager and the technical personnel involved in a project. The person is responsible for monitoring the project progress in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

Liaise with client for any technical issues

Attend meeting with client and subcontractor

Highlight any pending issues to client and subcontractor

Coordinate with all project related personnel on day-to-day progress of work activities and update progress to client

Issuance of TBE

Technical support (troubleshooting)

Carry out Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

Prepare related documents and project reports

About you

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent courses

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, PDF and AutoCAD

Familiar with construction site working environment

Troubleshooting and hands‑on skills

Fluent in oral and written English and Bahasa Melayu

Teamwork, proactive and willing to learn new things

Working under pressure with minimum supervision from superior

Minimum 2 years or more working experience in any industry, preferably oil and gas or construction industry

Having knowledge and experience with Fire Protection Systems would be an added advantage
