Job summary

Dwisolar Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Lead Design Engineer to drive project execution for fire protection engineering systems and lead technical reviews. You will supervise Design Engineers, supervise calculations, CAD/BIM coordination, and ensure documentation aligns with codes and contract specs.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in MEP/Fire Protection design, strong leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination skills, and a background in an engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in MEP/ Fire Protection design.
• Strong leadership and project-management abilities.
• Experience in an Engineering Consultancy environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews and overall project executions for fire protection engineering systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, design, and engineering issues across project lifecycles.
• Guide and supervise Design Engineers handling engineering calculations, CAD/BIM coordination, technical submissions, and project documentation.
• Ensure all technical deliverables comply with local fire safety codes, engineering standards, and contract specifications.
• Coordinate technical matters between clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal project management teams.

Key responsibilities

Guide and supervise Design Engineers handling engineering calculations, 3D/2D CAD/BIM coordination, technical submissions, and project documentation.

Ensure all technical deliverables comply with local fire safety codes, engineering standards, and contract specifications.

Coordinate technical matters between clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal project management teams.

About you

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP / Fire Protection engineering design.

Professional background working within an Engineering Consultancy environment is strongly preferred.

Deep technical knowledge of applicable fire protection engineering standards and safety codes.

Strong leadership, project management, and cross-disciplinary coordination skills.

Proficiency in technical documentation review and engineering calculations.
