Seeking an experienced Project/Electrical Manager to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a Project/Electrical Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our growing company.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure project milestones are met
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks in a timely manner
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and align project requirements with business objectives
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices and tools to drive efficiency and transparency
  • Ensure all projects are executed professionally and in accordance with the contract conditions and company interests
  • Attend project coordination meetings, liaise and work closely with authorities, clients, consultants, suppliers/sub-contractors and other personnel involved in the project and produce written reports for file reference and audit purposes
  • Report on a weekly basis to Project Director / General Manager for each project handled
  • Work closely with internal F&A Division on project related matters such as financial, logistic, procurements, etc
  • Manage profitability for each project, including managing contract card reporting
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements in ISO and OSH, etc are fully complied
  • Implement company procedures and practices such as QAQC, etc
  • Lead/monitor site matters, including supporting personnel involved
  • Maintain a good, organized filing system for easy retrieval of all related documents under ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) & ISO 45001:2018 (Safety)
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project team members
What we’re looking for
  • 10 years of experience as a Project/Electrical Manager in the Engineering industry, preferably in Power Field
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and execute detailed project plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Extensive experience in the design and execution of electrical substation project
  • Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field, or a relevant Project Management certification
  • Registered professional (PE) Electrical Engineer of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
