Job summary

Teck Guan Group is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support our civil engineering and construction projects in Sabah. Fresh graduates are welcome and training will be provided; the role focuses on coordinating site activities, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.

You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and site teams, track timelines, gather site updates, and help ensure accurate meeting minutes and progress updates. Based in Tawau, Sabah.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience as a Project Coordinator or in site operations is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese to communicate with diverse clients, contractors, and site workers.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive, dependable, and self-motivated; open-minded and eager to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and site teams in day-to-day project coordination and administrative operations.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and follow up on outstanding action items.
• Coordinate site visits, progress inspections, and team meetings.
• Maintain organized project files, contracts, permits, and technical documents.
• Prepare accurate meeting minutes, site progress updates, and routine reports.
• Track document submissions, approvals, and information requests.
• Serve as a key point of contact between internal project teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and external authorities.
• Assist in gathering on-site updates, photographic records, and project status details.
