Job summary

AMETECH INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage sheet metal fabrication projects from order confirmation to delivery in Penang, Malaysia.

You will prepare and monitor schedules, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and ensure on-time delivery with maintained quality. The role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality to review drawings and specs and to handle changes or delays efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating sheet metal fabrication projects from order confirmation to delivery.
• Ability to review drawings, BOMs, specifications and customer requirements.
• Experience coordinating with Engineering, Production, Procurement and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sheet metal fabrication projects from order confirmation to delivery.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, production plans, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Follow up on material, production, subcontracting, and delivery status.
• Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle project changes, delays, technical issues, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering to resolve project issues.
• Monitor quality, and project performance.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure proper project documentation and revision control.
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
