Job summary

Akitek Jururancang is seeking a senior architect to undertake major commercial, residential, institutional and urban design projects. You will lead the design team or contribute as part of a dynamic Malaysia and overseas group.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Architecture (Part II), 8+ years’ experience, strong design flair, and excellent leadership and coordination with clients, authorities and consultants. Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Project is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Architecture (Part II) from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in an architectural design firm.
• Passionate with a strong flair in design.
• Good interpersonal skills with leadership qualities and dynamic personality.

Responsibilities

• Lead major commercial, residential, institutional and urban design projects, either leading the design team or as part of a dynamic group in Malaysia and overseas.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, lead consultants and contractors; handle project initiations and design presentations.
