Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced architect to manage the architectural design process from concept development through project completion, coordinating with authorities, registered architects, consultants and stakeholders to secure timely approvals.
You will lead authority submissions, including Development Order (DO), Building Plan approvals, staged submissions and CCC, and ensure compliance with Malaysian Standards (MS), British Standards (BS) and local regulations.

Manage the architectural design process from concept development through project completion.
Lead the authority submission process, including Development Order (DO), Building Plan approvals, staged submissions and Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).
Coordinate with local authorities, registered architects, consultants and stakeholders to ensure timely approvals.
Manage and monitor the performance of architectural consultants, ensuring compliance with project schedules, quality standards and contractual obligations.
Review architectural drawings, specifications and detailed designs to ensure compliance with Malaysian Standards (MS), British Standards (BS) and local regulations.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and resolve design interfaces and clashes.
Drive design optimisation and Value Engineering (VE) initiatives to improve constructability and project cost efficiency.
Support tender submissions, technical proposals and client presentations during the pre-contract stage.
Prepare and maintain design management procedures, technical standards and best practices.

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design, design management or authority submission in Malaysia.
Registered with LAM (Board of Architects Malaysia) and/or PAM membership will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian authority approval procedures, PSP responsibilities and PAM Contract administration.
Good understanding of Malaysian Building By-Laws, MS, BS, UBBL and local authority requirements.
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin. Ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders is an added advantage.
Experience in high-rise, industrial or EPC projects will be an advantage.
