Job summary

Qaaf Resources Sdn. Bhd is seeking a GIS Developer to design, implement, and maintain data operation, system integration, and GIS applications in Malaysia.

You will develop web and mobile mapping apps, understand customer requirements, integrate with databases, and ensure data integrity while staying current with GIS trends. The role requires a degree in CS/IT or GIS with at least 5 years' experience and knowledge of C/C# and web services.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or GIS.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in C, C# will be added advantage.
• Knowledge in performing integration using web services, API etc.
• Knowledge in Network infrastructure will be added advantage.
• Able to learn new technology in short period of time.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, analyze and maintain data operation, system integration and GIS applications.

• Propose development initiatives to increase programming efficiency.
• Maintain and support application according to changing business requirements.
• Make presentations and demos so that customers clearly understand the GIS application.
• Stay current with latest developments in GIS field.
• Assist in developing project proposal, budget, and schedule.
• Work effectively in a team to develop high quality GIS solutions.
