Job summary

Poladrone Solutions in Cyberjaya is seeking a Geomatics/GIS analyst to perform data collection, annotation, and GIS data management for commercial projects.

You will assist in data processing workflows, map production using GIS tools, and ensure quality through data cleansing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics / Surveying / GIS / Agriculture Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS) is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and office tools.
• Experience with GIS data management best practices and data cleaning.
• Good problem-solving skills and strong GIS/Remote Sensing knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player and eager to learn new knowledge.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Quality check and data cleansing of aerial mapping analysis through different GIS software
• Assisting and provide support in organize, update and storing geospatial data.
• Involve in data acquisition and data processing workflow for aerial mapping.
• Assist in map production using any GIS software like QGIS, Arcgis, etc

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics /Surveying/GIS /Agriculture Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Experience in GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS) is required.
• Experience in standard office application (Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience with GIS data management best practices and data cleaning.
• Good problem-solving skills and have strong knowledge on GIS and Remote Sensing applications.
• Detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good team player and passionate to work and learn new knowledges.

Good to have:

• Basic experience in scripting such Python for geospatial data structuring and visualization is an added advantage
• Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in flying drone and conduct remote sensing applications.
