Job summary

Altera Malaysia is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to lead and coordinate activities and milestones required to secure and maintain government approvals from the Malaysian Government.

This role will serve as the central focal point across engineering, finance, human resources, legal, tax, government affairs, and external stakeholders to ensure timely preparation, submission, and approval of all required documentation and supporting evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, public policy or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification is an advantage.
• 8–12 years of experience in project coordination or program management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the overall project plan, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies for government approvals.
• Drive project execution across Engineering, Finance, HR, Legal, Tax, and Corporate Affairs.
• Track progress and provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid delays in submission and approvals.
• Coordinate preparation, review, consolidation, and submission of all application documents.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of information provided to agencies.
• Maintain schedules and ensure timely closure of action items from reviews.
• Coordinate responses to requests for clarification and site assessments.
• Serve as primary liaison with state and federal government agencies.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, site visits, and presentations with government stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with external consultants, tax/legal advisors, and government representatives.
• Monitor regulatory developments and policy changes impacting approvals.
